What happens to your details

Who is responsible

Matchwright is an early-stage project run by Raimonds Makars, a private individual in Riga, Latvia. There is no company behind it yet. Raimonds decides what happens to the details sent through this site and is the controller under the GDPR.

For anything about your details, write to [email protected].

What we collect

The early-access form. Only what you type into it: your name, work email, company, the payment providers you reconcile, and, if you fill it in, what breaks most often. We also store the time you sent the form. Sending the form is voluntary; without it we just can’t reply to you.

Visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and doesn’t follow you across sites. It records the page you open, the site you came from, your browser and device type, your country and how fast the page loaded. We only see totals, not individual visitors.

Request data. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, processes technical request data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Why, and on what basis

Form details: to reply to you about Matchwright and to decide which provider connectors to build first. We use them because you agreed to by sending the form (consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Visit statistics and request data: to see which pages people read and where they come from, and to keep the site running and secure. This is our legitimate interest in running a small website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We don’t send newsletters, don’t share your details with anyone except the hosting provider below, and don’t sell them. We don’t make automated decisions about you.

Where they are stored and who processes them

Form details are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database located in Western Europe.

Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) provides the hosting, the database and the visit statistics, and acts as our processor under its data processing addendum. Cloudflare serves the site from data centres around the world, so request data can be processed outside the EU, including in the United States. Those transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses in Cloudflare’s data processing addendum and on Cloudflare’s certification under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep them

Form details: while we choose and build the first connectors, and no longer than 12 months after you sent the form. We delete them sooner when that work ends or as soon as you ask.

Visit statistics are kept by Cloudflare only as aggregated totals.

Your rights

You can ask to see your details, correct them, delete them, restrict how we use them, or get a copy in a machine-readable format. You can withdraw your consent at any time; that doesn’t affect what we did with your details before. You can also object to the visit statistics and request data described above.

To correct your details, send the early-access form again with the same work email: the new answers replace the old ones. To delete them, use the form below. For anything else, write to [email protected]; we reply within one month.

You can also complain to the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (Datu valsts inspekcija).

Changes to this notice

If we change what we collect or why, we update this page and the date at the top.
